"Every once in a while I read a book that I wish wouldn't
end.  Redemption is one of those. I LOVE LOVE LOVE
it! When I got to the last page, it pulled at my heartstrings."

"Fantastic read! Written with a style that is easy while, at the same time,
gives a nod to authenticity of the era and the youngsters we thought would
remain children forever. Joyce develops these old childhood friends into
men of real character, and heart...and soul. Loved it and can't wait for more
from this author!"  ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

"Mr. Joyce has written a very compelling tale that Is an easy read. My
attention was held from beginning to end. His characters reveal their
humanity with ease and believability. I highly recommend this book for a
wide variety of ages - everyone can take something good away from their
time spent immersed with his captivating characters. As with any great
book, it's a shame it had to end."   ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
"At first glance I thought that anyone who thought they could tackle the
sequel to Mark Twain's masterpiece must reside in a mental institution.
Wrong, I was. Mr. Joyce has taken a slice of American History and
expanded upon it in a most interesting fashion. By calling up the ghosts of
Louis L'Amour & the early works of Elmore Leonard, Huck & Tom
grippingly move through the Civil war era & beyond, carrying the
enraptured reader along with them. Now I'm waiting for this author's sequel."

"If I were to take on a project such as this, I would first want to consult a
psychologist to have myself tested for sanity. To think, a renowned and time-
tested series such as the "Tom Sawyer" books could be expanded, would
lead me to believe I had lost all my marbles. But what I think has happened
with 'Redemption', is Andrew Joyce has successfully channeled the spirit of
Mark Twain into the twentieth-century. Through page after page, I read with
amazement on how this could not be considered a companion to the Twain's
1876 and 1884's respective works. In a nutshell, they work together as a
trilogy to complete the saga, from the imagination of two tremendous writers.
Well done Mr. Joyce!"
